news genericGolf Australia are offer an educational opportunity to individuals who are either looking to become Community Instructors, or have already completed the course, to deliver junior and/or adult introductory programs at their club. The purpose of this opportunity will be to give participants an insight into the role of a Community Instructor including the responsibilities, benefits & support that come with it.

The proposed date for this session is Monday August 31st at 7pm via Microsoft Teams (This can be accessed using the Microsoft Teams App or through your Web Browser).

Golf Australia introductory programs, “Get into Golf” & “MyGolf” are both supported by a suite of resources including lesson plans, posters, flyers and web links to promote and deliver your programs. These programs are managed through an easy to use online platform located within the Golf Australia website and I will be available in a practical sense to provide on-site training and support once programs registered.

From this session you will;

  • Gain an understanding of Golf Australia’s National Participation Programs
  • Experience Get into Golf and MyGolf activities & delivery methods
  • Learn about resources and support available to design and market programs
  • Learn about equipment and funding available to run programs
  • Learn about the online program management portal
  • Have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with other participants

The sole purpose of this session is to provide participants with information and understanding in regards to the role of Community Instructor without any requirement to commit to the role.

Please forward this information to the relevant people within your golf club and ask them to reply directly to me via email. I will send them the meeting link a couple of days prior to the session.
